As vegans, we often like to replicate those favourite flavours from our non-vegan days. And clearly Hodo has similar ideas. So seeing a gap in the market and recognising the demand for a delicious egg alternative, Hodo has created the Vegan All-Day Egg Scramble.

In honour of Earth Day, Hodo’s latest addition is made from plants, with whole ingredients and artisan methods of ensuring a true egg-like flavour and texture as well as top levels of nutrients.

So not only are you getting a plant-based egg that tastes like scrambled eggs, it contains as much protein as a chicken egg but zero cholesterol plus high levels of fibre, calcium and iron.

The primary ingredient in Hodo’s All-Day Egg Scramble is the wonderful soybean. And to ensure a commitment to the environmental and climate-related issues we face, Hodo uses only North American grown, organic and non-GMO soybeans for its product. 

To cook, the All-Day Egg Scramble can be simply heated in the microwave. So it’s convenient and perfect as a snack or part of a main meal.

In 2021, plant-based eggs were the fastest-growing plant-based category, with 42% dollar sales growth. In contrast, conventional egg sales dropped by 4%. If we look across the past three years, plant-based egg dollar sales have grown by more than 1,000% according to the Plant Based Foods Association.

Hodo’s All-Day Egg Scramble is set to be launched at 1,500 stores across the nation, including in Whole Foods Market and Natural Grocers. The coming months will also see additional grocery chains selling the product.
